Battery Drain - No start problem 850 1994

The 1-5-4 code is for the EGR, flow too high. I don't have EGR on my cars and know nothing about it.
Check your battery cable connections and/or clean them throughly. Also follow the ground wire to the body and check for rust, cleaning any off.
Next, check the alternator output. It should be at about 14.5V at idle with the DRLs on. Any lower and you may need new brushes.
