soliciting advice 850 1993

It's great. I have a very small handful of little annoyances, but I get them fixed when I can. (I changed out the worn down steering wheel and had seat rips done at an upholstery shop, things like that) Right now I'm doing a workup similar to a 90K service: all fluids, plugs, filters, etc. The engine runs strong, and I really think there is a difference when the gas is less than 91 octane. What will ultimately have me upgrading (don't know when) will be the little broken things, the bumps and rattles, not the engine, or getting stuck on the road (it's nice to have a Volvo) same as with the 240, which my Indy says is still running well with it's owner. Yours has 84K? (it's just a baby) or 184K? (an adolescent)
I'm not thrilled with always having to put gunk on the plastic bumpers and watching out for trouble in the PCV system, but my joy of 'I love this car' is only a little quieter after six years with the 850. I've learned a lot of fixes in that time too. Have Fun.
