Steering gear boot grease S70 1998

While replacing the suspension A-arms on my '98 S70, I noticed that both steering gear boots were torn. The replacements are on the way, but I have a question about the lubrication called for in the Haynes manual. It is, by the way, the Haynes manual for the 850 but I assume that the procedure is the same. Haynes calls for packing the new boot with 0.70 ounces of "steering gear grease" obtainable from Volvo dealers. Is "steering gear grease" something special or is it obtainable at my local auto parts store? Also 7/10's of an ounce doesn't seem like very much grease. Haynes also doesn't really describe how it is "packed" into the the boot.

Any assistance here would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Happy New Year to all.
