Coolant light problem & Trade in suggestions V70-XC70 2000

Quick test of low coolant sensor. Unplug the sensor, start the engine, wait 10 seconds, jumper the 2 wires on the harness side of the conector, the light should go out. If so, the sensor or float is the problem.
