Engine oil leak

'96 855T with 140k miles - now has oil leak.

Overnight, it showed 4 different leak locations on a cardboard. Largest was about 3 inches in diameter, the reset ~1 inch in diameter. All within a circle of, say 1 foot in diameter.

I checked again during lunch time (morning commute ~15 min), and again, 3-4 leak spots, all ~1 inch in diameter.

I haven't peeked at underside yet - too cold, and I don't know what's where (not a DIYer).

Is there anything significant about multi-location leaks? I'm bringing it to an indy soon, and I just want to prepare myself.
