What all do I need to change 850

Going from a 2.3 to a 2.4L engine should not require a harness change, but just swapping the ECU module. There are no mechanical changes that I can think of.

I suggest also swapping the tranny and it's TCU, the 1998 has a better tranny.

Changing the engine wiring is a major job. You would also loose the onboard OBD capability.
