2004 S80 Trunk Unlocks While Driving S80

Guys my problem was i could not open my trunk..the cable to the lock, this is the black cable on the leftside of the trunk lid, had an open wire, i repaired it with some wire and solder..Maybe the ground wire on yours is touching another wire within the bundle and this will open the lid..meter your cable for shorts and opens..disconnect the cable at both ends, and check with a meter, it only takes about 30 minutes to check and disconnect,,,good luck
