I recently added remote entry to my '97 850 it was very easy. It's really great to have and a great addition. I bought the fob and receiver on eBay for $40 and the code number for the two components match. The installation involves removing the glove box and connecting the wiring harness that will be there waiting. The programming was next to nothing easy. Search keyless entry on this site and on Google. If you still have questions post back. Have fun.
