V70 window switch assembly - any benefit to cleaner? V70-XC70

Is there any benefit to using contact cleaner and working the switches back and forth? Or, are they sealed so the cleaner would not penetrate? I have not had balky behavior yet, but the switches have a stick goo-like feeling.
