HELP! Broken lower rear shock stud. 850

I have not heard of anyone successfully drilling out the old stud and replacing it. You are not the first, this has come up 2 or 3 times a year on various boards and the solution always seems to be a new trailing arm (Delta link).

A good local junk yard is your friend but if you can't find one call erievovo, www.erievovo.com. I've only dealt with them through eBay auctions and they were great but I've heard they suck when you try to email them. Grab the 800 number off of the website and make a call.

They are aluminum and they don't weight that much but they are bulky and freight is an issue with them.

Once you replace it you will need to get a 4 wheel alignment.
