Transmission shifting V70-XC70 2004

I had random/infrequent slips when my XC was about 1/2 quart down on ATF. The RPM would kick up about 300-400 RPM and quickly engage back into 3rd. Added 1/2 quart and never seen it again. I do have the updated transmission software loaded.
