Because it gets worse with warm weather, I would suspect a relay under the dash.
After considerable additional thought and it being late... You may be correct about a bad wire in the driver's door. All doors are supposed to unlock/lock with the driver's door, not 2 unlocks with the key.
Volvospeed's bay13 has a procedure to take the door panel off, but they forgot about the little plastic phillips screw that is at the bottom front of the door panel, and how the panel needs to fit into slots when you hang the panel back onto the door.
