Put the key in pos I and turn the radio on. If you hear the motor running in the trunk to raise the antenna, all is good.
Reach in and turn the radio off or the key to pos 0. Hurry back to the antenna and try helping it go down, either by grabbing the mast or carefully pushing from the top. If this works, you will need a new antenna mast or just ignore it and beware of car washes.
