While driving, we noticed the message come on. When stopping it became apparent. Car was stuck in Neutral and Drive - only two positions available. Could even get the key out.
On older 850 - just had to move the shifter back and forth a number of times to clear up the position sensor.

2 questions:

Any way to override so my wife can shut the car off and get the key out?

Anyone with advice on this - V70 2002 t-5. Also any idea on part cost if it is the gear shift control switch in the center console???
