a/c power stage fault

hi i have a prob with my 850 glt a/c the fault code says faulty diagnostic signal from blower fan power stage i removed and bridged out blower and it runs i sourced a second hand power stage and installed and tried to reset fault but it wouldn't, are they talking about a signal from the power stage to the computer via a wire which may be a bad connection if so does anyone know which wire i'm chasing thanks joe
