Head lights and turn signals sometimes don't work V70-XC70 1999

I'm no expert, but yes, it looks like you are on the right track. Your key will still work, as all you are replacing is the electronics "contact" section. The mechanical portion will still be the same. What I don't know or can explain is the interface between the mechanical (key part) and the electronic part. Can ware in the mechanical part cause these issues? Hopefully someone with more experience than I have will provide input too.
