??Battery Lifetime?? S80 2001

Last month. It is a 6 year battery. Take a 10mm wrench to the dealer, tell the parts window you want a new one. Give the man $100US, swap the battery, and give him the old one.
Newer cars cannot have the battery unplugged, according to the various dealers. It messes up the electronics????? So, how do they do it?
