Sorry, no help, but my 94 855T is doing exactly the same thing. I don't notice it much until I'm playing catch-up on highway onramps.

Could it be the turbo is starving for air (or fuel)? Hoses tight? Air filter clean?
Any engine codes turn up?
(I can answer no to all those).
