turbo interchangability S70

Without a part number, I would be skeptical. There is one out there for a 1998:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Truck-Parts-Accessories__98-VOLVO-V70-S70-C70-70-TURBOCHARGER-TURBO-CHARGER_W0QQitemZ350149388873QQadiZ2865QQadnZCarQ20Q26Q20TruckQ20PartsQ20Q26Q20AccessoriesQQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item350149388873&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

But it doesn't say how many miles are on it. $208 plus shipping?

Have you asked around at places that rebuild truck turbos? If it is just the seals, then it shouldn't be that bad. If it is the bearings, you will need a new turbo.
Call Erie Vovo at their 800 number. They usually guarantee their parts for a year. At least you know what you get.
