Thanks for the feedback, but I think we're talking about 2 different things. The throttle switch, at least on 240, can be quick tested as follows: "with ignition off, listen to the switch as throttle is opened. A click should be heard immediately as the throttle valve opens" (Bentley). This single click definitely comes from the actual switch area.
