Will the immobilizer trigger an error display, or just quit working? Is it user-serviceable? Does the immobiizer just block the starter kicking in, or does it block all power to the ignition system? In other words, if the immobilizer is malfunctioning will jumpering power to the starter solenoid (such as using a remote starter switch) enable starting and running? Thanks.
