Rob, If you turn OFF the STC at the switch the dash light will light up solid.

When the STC/TRACS is working(due to loss of traction)the light blinks.

It will go back ON as that is the default setting every time the car is started.

The only thing is....I am not 100% sure turning off the STC will have a effect on the ETC end of things....where the ECU will lower engine output when traction is lost.
