This has been a problem with SV70s...since about 1997. Scroll around and search here. First Volvo replaced the door panels, then they exchanged and actually rebuilt the panels, then they sent kits to the dealers so the poor tech could do it...or screw it up completely in the process, which was usually the case. Now they're just slapping hard plastic inserts in? Wow!

I've had mine replaced once by the dealer in warranty, and once by myself, out of warranty. Not critical to the function of the car, but I was getting annoyed every time I looked at it.
