I brought my 93 850 in for two main problems: an oil leak (rear main seal-$800) and exhaust leak (something to do with the header-$200-400?) plus I said that i was interested in getting the ac fixed ($1200). Which looks like more than enough for them to make off of me in one visit yet they called today and told me that when they started the car there was a transmission fault and it need a 300 dollar gear selector part. As of when I dropped it off there was nothing wrong with it which makes me kinda suspicious. So what does this sound like to you? THe place is called Goodwins Volvo and its one of the three dealerships in Maine, the other two are pretty far away. I am from NY and use a dealership there usually but I am here at school and never have time to get it fixed when i am home. They also wanted 320 for the switch on my power seat so that I could move the back up and down! I told them that the position it is in is good enough for me!
