I don't know nothin about MB engines, eventhough I have one. I just remember the horror stories from the Volvo aluminum block 6 cyls where the block would pit until it leaked through the walls. Even at $38 per gallon, it is only flushed every other year and spending an extra $10 per year is no big deal for piece of mind.
