What should the idle speed be at operating temperature? 850 97R

I just noticed that my car was idling around 900 rpm at operating temperature and was wondering if this is normal? Seem kind of high to me. I can see if the engine is cold to be idling at this range but would expect it to drop to about 600-700 when warm. What is normal?
