Nathan: go to the 'RWD/700' site, and drag the right-hand scroll bar all the way down to the bottom. Look for 2 posts, one on Saturday at 6:35am, the response on Saturday at 9:27am., titled "760 1987: brighter Headlights." Yes, I know you have an 850. But what is contained in those 2 posts explains a lot about your lights, wires, etc. There was an ongoing thread, but it 'expired', but I managed to print out the info from a link that you should find informative, perhaps even helpful, by going to: http://www.vclassics/archive/relays.htm --P.D.
