Power Antenna Mast Replacement S70 1998

The bottom of the mast has a sleeve which should be flush to the part that sticks up from the motor. That sleeve is what is holding the antenna in place. I have used PB Blaster to soak the sleeve. I have also placed the motor in a vise, gently, and with a pair of pliers under the top chrome tip of the extended antenna, hammered the pliers to help pull the sleeve out of the mast.
You cannot put the nylon ribbon in from the bottom, you need the motor to pull the ribbon down into the reel.
