Auto GearBox V70-XC70 2000

2000 Volvo V70 GLT

I was driving today when the brake light and ABS light came on, the arrow light began blinking, the speedometer quit working and the odometer and tripometer had dash lines. The car also felt like it was stuck in a high gear. When I looked it up in the owners manual, it referenced an Auto Gearbox fault.

From what I understand that can be quite costly to fix the auto gearbox (in the thousands to fix). Does anyone have any thoughts on what the true problem is here?

Any ideas, suggestions would be appreciated!
