Although Swede cars weren't as good (sheet metal wise) back then as they became a few years later, I'd bet that it still outlasted most other cars from the same year in your area.

BTW, Saabs and Volvos are not similar cars at all IMO, even though they're from the same country and I've never liked any Saab, never will.
