headlamp capsule XC90 2004

The driver's side headlamp capsule has a broken plastic tab on the top of the assembly that the pin goes through. I asked the dealer about it and they said the part 30764401 would be needed at $1127.03. The good news is that the labor to install is only $29.40. I tried Erie Volvo and they did not seem to have any used assemblies. Has anyone had any experience on this and where I could get a used one? I can't justify spending $1100 for the part. It is being held in place now with some wire.
