Tepid about new s60R

Volvo should stick to it's knitting. A sedan that "competes" with the M3 and S4 is nothing to write home about. And it's unlikely that it's going to be as balanced as the M3 or S3.

A Volvo station wagon that "competes" with the M3 and S4 is remarkable and worth about a smile a mile! It's a niche market and even BMW doesn't do it as well.

(Yes, there is an S4 Avant, but like the 325i Touring, it's more of a hatchback than a real wagon. There's not a heck of a lot of room back there.)

Agree about the C70. I think it's about the prettiest coupe made today; but I am also afraid it's not too long for this world. For one thing the model designition doesn't fit in with anything anymore. Think they'd rename it "Coupe" (as with the last 780s) if they wanted to keep it. Suspect that when they assemble the last of the pieces they've got in their warehouses, that's IT!
