Unless someone did a drastic wiring relocation, the CPS is on the rear exhaust cam. Look at the engine from the driver's side, just under the valve cover note the two round projections. The one closest to the firewall is the rear cam and it has a couple of wires coming out of it. The wires are connected to the CPS under the cover.
I am surprised that the car even starts with a bad CPS. Usually, a message on the instrument cluster will indicate the timing belt is out of position by 1 tooth. But at 155K miles, that message should have come up 50K miles ago when the Tbelt was changed.
