For a cold, hot chicken noodle soup and honey sweetened peppermint tea are all you need.
For the no start? Listen for the fuel pump when you turn the key to position II, it should humm for a couple of seconds while it primes the pressure.
A starter not turning is a different matter. It is due to a loose wire at the starter or the solenoid not working. My bet is on the latter.
When that happened to me, back in the good old days, I could use a long handled screwdriver to short the starter to ground and start the car. Neutral, switch on, parking brake on.
When the O2 sensor fails, the engine will run rich and slowly foul the plugs at low rpm. This could cause your hesitation.
