Resetting CEL on '96 850T5 850

Well, I don't know what you guys are talking about but I had my battery disconnected for a good ten minutes and it did not reset the CEL. I did have to reset the radio code though :-P

I ordered this cable and software on Ebay from Hong Kong that is supposed to work with '96 OBD2 cars, using a laptop with a serial port. I only have $37 into it, and it seemed perhaps like a more elegant solution than a generic code reader... If it works. I'll report back.
