It IS an easy thing to do. Takes a minute or two. It is not even that awkward to access the bulb.

Unscrew the plastic cover on the back of the headlight assembly. It is a short turn, some 45 degrees. The covers even say where the top is.

Reach the bulb and turn it (it will only turn in one direction), the pull it out. When you put a new one in, try not to touch the bulb with your fingers.
