Brown Dust S70 98

Hello,I have recently bought My first Volvo (S-70)98 and love this car as well as this site. This is My first post as well so please feel free to correct Me. My problem is this, I have noticed a brownish colored dust that collects around the serpintine belt area of the motor with the majority of the dust by the air conditioner pump. Is this normal? I would assume there is some type of friction material in the clutch of the air cond pump, could this be the dust genarator?. Every thing seems to be normal and the dust that collects is minumal.Any input would be helpfull, Thanks in advance. John Green Bay,WI
