Check the specs again Sullivan. Your engine is a B5244T2 and at 2435 ccs displacement is indeed a 2.4L powerplant. It's the very same block as the LPT/GLT but has a slightly reduced compression ratio of 8.5:1 instead of 9.0:1. Tack on the AW55-50 and a 2.44:1 final drive and you have your "R" Powertrain.
