The recall is only for vehicles sold or currently registered in southern states. What climate/temperature data was used to limit the recall to these certain states, was it from East Anglia? They included DC, is that southern? What about retirees who drove from Michigan down to Florida and Arizona for the winter? What if you have a heated garage. Wahhh, it's just not fair.

It smells as if Volvo got forced kicking and screaming by the government safety recall police to declare this a recall rather than just a TIB.

There is provision for a refund to those who had to pay for the correction.
