Check the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator for presence of gasoline. You seem to be starting much too rich, the non-start could have fouled your plugs and/or washed a couple of cylinders allowing the compression to decrease.

Next morning cold start, try to look at the exhaust at start up. If you see any black smoke, it is too rich. When the FPR fails, gasoline will enter the manifold and pool there.
