Drives side door latching 850 1995

Anybody have a problem with the driver's side door not wanting to latch unless it is slammed hard. This happen when the car is hot. The latch flip part in the door works smoothly and is lubed. I adjusted the striker when it was cold for easy closure and a good seal. I am afraid that moving the striker out will result in the door being loose when cold. Is this a problem with the weather stripping or the latch assembly?
