If the key will not go to pos 0, to get the key out, it is not the fault of the lock.
Try pushing the button on the console as you shift to park.

But, your real problem is probably the button on top of the shifter not releasing completely. You could try a little WD40 under the button and see if that frees it up. The buttons are replaceable, as is the entire shifter.
