Preffered Fuel

Have owned 7 Volvo's - 5 NA's and 2 Turbo's. Never have wandered from 87 octane. Never had a problem with pinging or anything. Mileage has been consistant with expectations. Had a Lincoln LS and a Jaguar X Type that both required 92 octane and made noises when they got 87 octane.

Was told by an indie mechanic that Shell and Chevron were the best gasolines and to avoid AM/PM Arco.

Ditto on the comments of filling tank when the tanker was present refilling the ground tank. It dredges up all the garbage from the bottom of the tank and then you pump it into your car. Ouch.
