I bought an 08 Subaru for may daughter last year and my accountant told me that I blew it for 2009. The feds have an incentive to write off about $1500 or so if the car was new.

All car dealers have great discounts, Volvo is not an exception. Expect to take a minimum of 10% off the list if the car is in inventory, some go as high as 15%.

Go to your dealers web site and ask. If you have more than one dealer in the 100 mile area, ask them all for an Out-the-door price for the model you are looking for. That goes for any new car.
