For the record, the confidence is called "privilege" and it is destroyed if a third party is present not under the control and direction of the attorney, unlike a legal secretary, paralegal, translator, etc.

I understand that Jarrod is asking for an attorney licensed in Minnesota to assist him. As you correctly state, a competent attorney will want communication to be privileged.

Jarrod has always acted in a thoughtful and reasonable manner. His asking for an attorney/member to assist him is consistent with that.

I hope that an attorney/member licensed in Minnesota will offer his or her professional help.
