Correct tyres V70-XC70 2001

Your T5 is meant to ride in a "controlled" manner, rough! Most T5s were ordered with shorter sport springs. Obviously, the smaller the sidewall the less give over sharp bumps and the rougher the ride.

If you play with this: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
you can figure out if you can go to 50 or even 55 aspect ratio. The V rated tires will also have less flex than the S rated tires and tread design makes a world of difference.

If your car is approaching 130K miles, you might want to consider new struts/shocks as well. Older shocks will ride rougher than newer ones.
