LOL, your son like the turbo? The 4-1-4 = boost pressure regulation. Boost pressure too high.

Check the vacuum lines to the turbo, all three of them, and look for cracks. Replace if needed. I suggest that the blow off valve is not working properly.

Get your son a bail bond card, he just might need it :)
