Consumer Reports' 11/99 snow tire report rated the Guardex 600 at 7th out of 8 tires, primarily because it was "among the worst in braking and cornering on wet pavement, and the worst in resistance to hydroplaning." It tested good in snow, though. The few owner comments I've heard were generally positive. It's one of the new studless winter tires like the Hakka Q.
If you are a long time Hakka user, you might be interested in the Hakka 2 which is new this year, although it could be hard to find. Nokian claims it has 15% better stopping and wear than the Hakka 1.
