Well I was attempting to do an oil change my 2000 V70 and I opened the transmission fluid instead of the oil! I know stupid...

I have a 5 speed and according to Volvo takes Volvo specific transmission oil.

I was laid off from my job and spending $20 per quart does not seem like the greatest use of my money right now.

Is there other stuff I can use? I do not want to mess up the transmission. Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.
