I've experienced the same problem with my climate control. As soon as I move the slider to adjust the fan speed, I get the flashing lights. The lights flash for about 15 seconds and then stop. I still get air flowing through the vents, albeit very slowly, and I can feel changes in temperature when that has been adjusted.

What exactly is the fix for this, is it a matter of just replacing the blower motor or should I take the car to a Volvo service center for diagnostics?
